Lionettes of the Hardwood

The La Feria Lionettes continue District 32-4A play throughout the 2022 season. Sitting at 5-3 in district play, La Feria has knocked off some key opponents.
In District Play, La Feria has beaten Raymondville, Brownsville Jubilee and HSI in sweep fashion. La Feria has also beaten Grulla in five sets 3-2, and Port Isabel in four sets. La Feria’s three losses have come to Zapata, Grulla and Hidalgo. Looking ahead to the remainder of 32-4A play, La Feria will take on Jubilee, Harmony School of Innovation, and Port Isabel before wrapping up the regular season.
In 2021, La Feria finished District play with a record of 6-3, a larger district that included Rio Hondo as well. Finishing as the second seed, La Feria took on 31-4A’s three-seed Alice, who swept the Lionettes. This year, La Feria plans to punch their ticket to the postseason as we wind down the regular season.
