Lionettes fall to Edinburg North

The La Feria Lionettes played host to the Edinburg North Lady Cougars for another round of Non-District Action.
Edinburg North was in charge for the matchup as The Lady Cougars dominated offensively. Set one saw the Lady Cougars take control and never look back as ENHS captured set one 25-13.
The defense and offense from Edinburg North increased throughout the night as again dominance was the name of the game for Edinburg North as the Lady Cougars again captured set two 25-11.
Now down 2-0 the Lionettes were looking to make a comeback and try to avoid the sweep. Meanwhile, Edinburg North was riding a wave of momentum after their two big victories in the first two sets.
Edinburg North was able to take control again and won 25-8, sweeping the Lionettes.
The Lionettes will have one more non district game against Edinburg Economedes before opening 32-4A play against Raymondville on September 9th.
