It’s Time Texas Community Challenge
- Updated: April 28, 2022
The Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) would like to thank everyone who participated in the It’s Time Texas Community Challenge! For eight weeks the district came together to engage in a friendly competition in making healthier choices. For the third year in a row La Feria ISD was in the top five Districts under the Extra Small Category. (La Feria ISD Facebook page)
Each year It’s Time Texas hosts a challenge in which communities come together to help everyone no matter where they live or income status, live more healthier lives. Nowadays we live in communities where being healthy is not a priority anymore. You could find more information about their nonprofit organization on their website itstimetexas.org.
Congratulations to the Top 5 District Winners!
